My Story
For over 26 years, I’ve dedicated my life to education, creativity, and the transformative power of theatre. I’ve taught both high school and college students in theatre and communications, helping them discover their voice, build their confidence, and express their identities through performance and storytelling.
Seventeen years of my journey were spent abroad, leading theatre programs in university and international schools in China. This experience deepened my passion in working with Third Culture Kids (TCKs); students navigating the complexities of identity, culture, and belonging. Theatre became a bridge: a place where students from diverse backgrounds could find common ground, tell their stories, and build community.
Today, I specialize in designing student-led workshops, consulting with schools to create innovative theatre programs, and training educators on how to utilize drama as a means of bringing creativity and collaboration into their classrooms. Alongside this work, I design structured learning experiences for online and blended environments, translating experiential, performance-based learning into clear, outcomes-driven instructional design.
Guiding students through the development of a devised production or helping teachers implement new strategies is part and parcel to my mission. I focus on creating experiences that support reflection, collaboration, and meaningful engagement in the classroom, the rehearsal space, as well as in digital learning environments.
Theatre, at its best, doesn’t just entertain, it transforms. And it’s been my privilege to help students and educators around the world experience that transformation first-hand.
